Abstract	Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) has been discussed a lot over the last five years.  The SNIA DMF ILMI has gone beyond the marketing hype that has surrounded ILM by launching the new "ILM Maturity Model."             The model represents a roadmap of sorts, outlining the steps that organizations have taken, or intend to take, to achieve a self-regulating, optimized, policy-managed information storage environment. Approximately several members of SNIA’s End-User Community contributed in this joint effort with the Data Management Forum’s ILM Initiative to develop this self-assessment of ILM maturity.  The speakers will discuss the model, how to perform an assessment, and how to use the results of the assessment.
Hosted by	Bob Rogers Chair, DMF Information Lifecycle Management Initiative CTO Application Matrix Bob "Mister" Rogers has more than 25 years of storage, systems, and performance management experience and is presently Chief Technology Officer and founder of Application Matrix, a startup focusing on Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) and Business Service Management (BSM) tools. Bob is a prolific writer, speaker, sought-after consultant in his field, and a founding member of SNIA's ILM Technical Working Group.
Presenter	Terry Yoshii Terry Yoshii, Vice-Chair SNIA-End User Community & Enterprise IT Architect, Intel Corporation In his role within the IT Research and Technology Development group, Terry is focused on the investigation and introduction of new technologies. His current areas of focus are ILM, Cloud Services, and Solid State Drives. Terry facilitates several collaboration efforts where end users work with industry experts within the SNIA to develop best practices that result in positive impact to IT shops globally.
Presenter	Paul Field SNIA DMF Board of Directors & Independent Consultant Paul Field has over 25 years of experience in the IT industry. While at IBM he held various roles, including product management, product team leadership, vendor relationships and strategy. He managed product portfolios in archiving, networked storage and networking and currently provides expertise in these areas as in independent consultant.
