SNW
is around the corner – Tis the season for Tutorial
Reviews and Buyers Guide Updates
This
is a busy time of year. The are kids returning to
school soon, vacation season is over for most of
us, and Storage Networking World is approaching.
SNW
Fall in the US will be held at the beautiful
Gaylord Texan Resort in Dallas Texas from October
13–17. SNW
Europe will be held in Franfurt from October
27–29. In preparation for SNW there are two
activities you will be hearing about this week.
Watch your inbox for notifications.
The
first activity is the call for participation in
the 4th Edition of the Data Protection Initiative
Members Buyers Guide which will be distributed at
SNW. The DPI buyers guide is intended for
end-users to help them understand what Continuous
Data Protection (CDP), Virtual Tape Libraries
(VTL) and Data Deduplication products are
available in the market today.
When
completed, the DPI Buyers Guide is available for
download
from the DMF website and distributed in print
at various tradeshows throughout the year. There
is no cost to list your product(s) in the guide,
but you must be a current DMF member. Don't be
left out.
The second activity is the open
review of SNIA
tutorials. The DMF will be presenting a number
of tutorials during SNW so let your voice be
heard. Open Review will run for 2 weeks, starting
August 25th. The invitation and instructions will
be sent in an email
soon.
