 About the Data Protection Initiative

The Data Protection Initiative (DPI) is a place for industry leaders to come together and focus on defining, implementing, qualifying, and teaching improved methods for the protection and retention of data and information. The goal of the DPI is to collaborate and build the knowledgebase and training capabilities that become the worldwide authority on data protection and retention, and to help all of the SNIA’s constituents (vendors, IT, regulatory agencies, and channel partners) better understand and implement data protection solutions.
